I always use auctionsniper.com as well. Works great and saves me a lot of greenbacks

I have a system involving one "stopwatch" (a countdown in my head) where my bid goes in within 2-5 seconds of the auction ending.

Gaming-type computers and the highest-tier internet access available in the area really are good for more than just gaming ;D

i know right levi!! i don't ever use that sniping stuff. Its kind of like cheating to me, I would feel wrong doing it. I have nothing against others who do it, but it is rather disheartening being outbid at the last moment by 50 cents. I have contemplated doing it for a lot of the coral auctions because I kinda feel like I am the only one not doing it... not sure exactly how it works tho... but you are certainly not alone in your frustrations levi!!

I use not a single program other than my web browser. I put in my bid, by hand, at the last few seconds. Programs are cheating, I agree. But my sniping is all me.

haha i definitely feel like i want to announce all the bids i am in on at 3reef sometimes I think that would be a great way to get the stuff you want, but at the same time it may just attract more interested buyers and it would make me a hypocrite because its also kind of cheating... but i will definitely stay away from that for ya :p

haha does ebay have rules? i mean obviously they must somewhere... i am not sure they foresaw bid sniping to be an issue when ebay was created but with the technology change people adapted to finding ways around losing auctions. I think if they made a rule everyone would just find a loop hole in it anyway... i honestly don't care, just don't outbid me :bouncylau

yes they have rules. not sniping isn't in there as far as i know.

ebay didn't invent auctions though and sniping has been around since auctions were created... if they didn't foresee it (or notice it in the past decade!!!) that's their problem ;D

I promise I will not bid on eBay today... so you're slightly safer :p:p
