Hello, it has been awhile since I've posted. I recently got a new 125 tall and set it up. It's been in a low light room and is just finishing its cycle. When I went to clean the tank last night I found this white line on the seam. It looks like the new tank is already throwing in the towel. Do you think it is bound to blow or leak?

I have not but it looks like water is certainly creeping through. If it's glass, I would strip all of the silicone and reseal the tank. If it's acrylic, you may be in more trouble.

It's glass. Water is not creeping through the silicone on the inside is still keeping it out. In person it looks like the glass is separating from the other glass and before silicone was holding it.

I'm still not sure I would be comfortable with it.

What is around the base of the tank/top of the stand? Gravel?

Definitely... Reseal now and avoid the headache later.

Wow Devin I don't like the look of it either. Looks like it is trying to seperate to me and I would be quite uncomfortable with it.
