Kind of resurrecting this post. As I said before I just bought the tank and it was only a month old. I emailed the manufacture and they were prompt and said they will be happy to exchange it for a new tank. Just to go to the retailer and get a new tank from them. Unfortunately, the retailer did not have the tank in stock and neither did their merchant.

I took the tank down and apart on Wednesday and sent it back with the merchant. I'm not hopeful on having the tank back any time soon. I think it will be about 3 or 4 weeks before I get the replacement.

This week has been bad for tanks and I. My Parent's tank sprung a leak. 110 tall. If anyone wants I will write up a shortish post with pictures on the event and how we were able to recover everything and are lucky enough to have zero loss.

Yeah, that is black gravel. Also, I should've waited to add it because it was a pain cleaning up when I was taking the tank down to exchange.

Sorry to hear of the delay Devin. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on.
