My LFS recommended this salt when I bought my tank.

Does anyone have any comments about this brand?

    Thanks in advance.

I have not heard of it either. I did however just use Seachem reef salt for the first time. I am really happy with it. It mixes up really nicely.

$.02 just because we don't know it doesn't mean it's no good. I've used other "off" brands in the past with no ill effect.

Never heard of it. Might be good! I use REEF CRYSTALS. I have used OCEANIC, Kent's salt, as well as others. They seem to be the same, with the exception of some having more calcium and strontium than others. Most of the salts are made by the same company.

hey it might be a good salt and it could be that it is not in the USA but only for sale in Canada right now might be smaller company that has not the marketing to make it to the U.S. yet.

On the subject with salts being made by the same company in some cases, I was told to choose a brand and stick to it, as you will put stress on your tank, changing the water chemistry, when changing salts while tank is up and running, new salt used in water change for example. I use Instant Ocean, worked for me so far, just notice it does take awhile to dissolve, has anyone noticed any bad effects from changing brands after tank has been established???
