It's been a while, but here is another FTS taken today 1/2/12

The camera is new (Nikon Coolpix S6100) and I'm still trying to figure out the white balance and the color and all that. Obviously my tank isn't quite this blue.

Hey the s6100 is a pretty good camera.

Your fts looks very nice. I like the amount of blue even though it's not the real color.

Nice job, everything looks happy. How do you like the Scopas?

He's cool. It's sorta unfair of me to have a Scopas in a 40 gallon, I know. I've tried to catch him a few times, but I've concluded that the stress of catching him and relocating him would probably be more than if I just let him be.

There is quite a bit of open swimming room and the tang has plenty of places to hide with enough room for his whole body. I feed him seaweed everyday, and when I do he comes to the surface. When I approach the tank, the tang doesn't go into hiding. These things all lead me to believe the tang is not under stress.

    I hope I'm right. :-/

The tang looks like it's healthy and doing fine in your tank. It's not like you have it packed full of fish. They don't really grow very fast.

    Just a quick update:

Scopas is gone and along with it all forms of algae. I had some other fish that either died or jumped out. The clowns were also relocated, but I think I mentioned that in a previous update.

    Now the list goes:
    Banggai Cardinal x2
    Mandarin Goby
    Cherub Pygmy Angelfish

This minimal list is ideal for me and the fish because right now I can guarantee that everyone is happy, that nobody will jump or starve to death, and that nobody will harass any of the coral.

All of the inverts are still alive and doing well. Shrimps, clam, feather dusters, etc.

    It's very Zen-like.
