Thanks again for the positive feedback.

Yes, that is a bubble coral and I've had it for exactly 1 month and 3 days.

Just wanted to share a couple of updated pics. The tanks is almost 5 months old now. All the kinks seem to be ironed out for the most part.

That's good to hear, looks good! How often do you get a chance to sit back and look at it?

Not very much admittedly. I am a student and I work, both full time, so I don't have a lot of free time. I also like to pretend that I actually have a life, so after maintenance is complete that leaves very little time to actually admire the tank. When I have visitors they are always amazed and that is what makes it all worth it.

The tank looks killer! Love the rock-scape, very simple, yet really natural looking.

Just a quick update with a not-so-great pic. As you can see I am still battling nitrates, hence the diatoms (cyano?) in the substrate. Plus the whole thing is kinda messy and cluttered at the moment because my clown pair is trying to make a host out of everything in the tank. I'm constantly moving things around in an effort to save my corals!

    Thanks for lookin!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Look pretty good. Darn clownfish. Clam looks really nice as does the brain. It's a beautiful tank.

I believe what you are battling is cyanbacteria, unless you have added new equipment. Anyway yes getting the nitrates down will help with the cyano.
