Just happen to notice my overflow today and the white pipework is now brown....this is diatom coverage right? And do I need to pull them out and clean them off? Or just drop a few turbo snails in there??

    TIA

Mine is covered in Coraline and hair algea. Odds are its just detritus and should not harm anything.

Are the snails a bad idea to put them in there then?

Im just starting to get some Coralline to grow...spot on the glass, and a few rocks are starting to look light purple. Will the snails hurt the Coralline growth or is that even an worry?

    thanks
