I've been dosing calcium the last four days and have not seen an increase--am I missing something? I'm using Kent Liquid Calcium.

alk I'm not sure because I don't have a test kit for it, but mag is around 1290 (I dosed that too last week, and it rose then remained steady for the last couple days).

Maybe your not dosing enough, find your daily usage, use brs calculator to find the dosing amount to increase to desired level, then add the amount you would normally add for daily usage. Make sure it's not precipping on you.

The BRS calculator is hard to use when you're using a product they don't sell. I've been adding a bit more than the directions on the bottle say, but still nothing.

It can take quite a bit more than what the bottle says if your tank is consuming it quickly. Keep slowly upping your doses until you get it where you want it. Just be sure to go slow.
