    New to Dosing,

I have a Bubble Magus Dosing Pump that I currently have set to 30mL a day of Alk and Ca ESV 2 Part over a 24 hr. period.

    Aquarium Reef Tank parameters are:
    Tested Yesterday

    Temperature: 77
    pH 8.3
    Salinity: 1.025
    Alkalinity, KH: 163
    Calcium, Ca: 407
    Magnesium, Mg: 1,160

    for date: December 2, 2012

    Today's Test

    Temperature: 77
pH: 8.3 (Edit pH due to typo)
    Alkalinity, KH: 185 ppm
    Calcium, Ca: 487 ppm
    Magnesium, Mg: 1300 ppm

    for date: December 3, 2012

Now is my 487 Ca bad should I cut back on one additive more than the other?

Someone please school me on this.

Most additives are added equally. If you drop one you drop the other especially if its part A and B. I have no knowledge of ESV but the basics should be the same.

Seems like you're dosing too much of both.

You want to maintain consistent levels. If their rising or dropping with daily dosing, then you're adding too much or too little.

I cut back to 20ml a day over 24 Doses. I know I did not start it the best way, but ill just reduce it or raise it as necessary i will test water again tonight.

Is there any adjustments that I should make?

Should I be dosing a little more to adjust ?
Or should I let it ride like this?
