Well I've got an unused 3rd dosing pump on my Bubble Magus BM-T01 triple doser that I planned on using for Magnesium. I use the BRS Recipe 1 supplements currently and I've got 2 questions.

1.) How can I even dose this stuff since after an hour or so after shaking the solution it likes to settle? There's a very large build up on the bottom of the container which I know is normal but seems like it would make automatic dosing difficult. A small pump or something?

2.) About how much Mag / day should I be dosing? Alk and Cal are around 28mL/day

    Thanks

I would use an air pump to keep the liquid moving. A small pump would also work well, but if you run out of mag your mixing pump will run dry.

There aren't really set numbers for anything you dose. It depends more on how much your reef consumes. Like anything else you will need to test a lot before you find your exact dosing amounts.

Put it in a warm water bath in the sink or something if it's not all dissolving, worked for me on my last batch although of course your mileage may vary. It still might take an hour or two in the warm water.
