Has any one had experience with Marine Magic dosing pumps? I found this one on ebay for $149. It is a good price compared to others that I have seen. But if is not going to hold up or is a problem I don't want to take the chance. I am dosing 30ml a day with ESV B-Ionic 2 part.

Can you give the actual Ebay link (only if that wouldn't hurt your chances of winning though). I'm interested in the details and a non thumb nail pic.

The heads looks like the Bubble Magus heads but in white. I suspect it'll have similar construction so it most likely boils down to the GUI and how you control the pumps. Does the listing say it has set schedules you can pick from, or can you fine tune the timing and duration?

Hewr is the link. I havent put in a bid as yet. It is new sow thee will be others behind it. I coppied this from the page. The pumps do look like Boubble Magus heads.

In timer mode, every instruction could set its own start time and run time. Very flexible. Max. could dose 16 on / off per day.

Flexible dosing speed, 4-Speed dosing speed adjustable (from 0.075 ml – 0.6 ml / sec.). Could adjust speed in manual mode and timer mode also. You could even dose in DROPLET.

It doesn't sound too bad, however what stands out to me is where the controls/screen are located on the unit. Being on the top will limit where/how you can place it near your tank.

I'm using the Bubble Magus doser and I have it mounted in the stand. There's no way I could ever see the top of the unit in its location.

How do you like the Bubble Magus? This unit looks like it has the same pump as the Magus. Just a different controller.

I have the bubble magus that comes with 3 pumps as well, that one looks similar even on the heads and except the panel being on the front as noted, even the buttons are exactly identical and they sure perform the same way.

I really love mine and it has never failed (knock on wood) and is very precise. You can split any amount of fluid in a 24 hour period. Very well thought out and each pump can be programmed individually to start at any given time, for any given period of time to split the dose. I don't know or ever heard about the one u posted from eBay, but it doesn't look very different.

^ I'm pretty much in agreement with what was said there. I have no complaints at all.
