I just came back from a 3 day weekend vacation to find that my diadema dottyback is acting abnormal. It is swimming along the perimeter of the tank and hiding, and looks lethargic (its usually out in the open swimming freely and almost never hides). It is also refusing food. I think I saw some ich spots on it, unfortunately. I tried catching it but it disappeared into the biggest rock (of course.. when has it actually been easy catching reef fish?).

    Well for some background info:
-water parameters are all good. Temp is a bit high- 84.5. SG is 1.025.
-It is in a 55 gallon matured reef. It has been in the tank for 1.5 months.
-All other fish are acting normal.
-I just added 5 brittle stars, a royal gramma, 25 polyps, 5 turbo snails, and 20 hermit crabs about 5 days ago. There is no ammonia or nitrite though.

What do you think its chances are? Since it's late, Ill try catching it and treating it tomorrow in QT with Rid-ich. Any other suggestions???

Nevermind, the dottyback is acting completely normal and has no ich. I must have just woke him up too late at night and he was acting weird.
