Now that I have Metal Halides. I am going to a more SPS dominant tank. I also LOVE the double island look. I have to move some softies down. So now is a good time to start planning this. I want to know what you think of this. I sketched it in paint. Sorry so crude, but you get the idea. I want a big piece of Tonga Branch to bridge the 2. Mind you, this is 5 mo. ago so corals are not all where you see them. Click on pic to enlarge.

I think that will look really nice! In my 37 I have the double island look branched together by a piece of live rock that looks like a tonga branch and I really like it.

Can't wait to see your new aquascape!

i think that would look spectacular rob. would really set your tank apart , very easy to visualize what you mean . even if your painting skills arent quite picassoish. :) go for it.

Here's the pic. It isn't an extreme two island look, but it's there. It's more obvious in person. And yes, those are fake plants :)

Nice...I have already moved the Large top rock(the one with the xenia on the right) down to the bottom. I think I will like it alot. I like how you can see the other tank in the reflection. Kacy, I just have to say, you have come a long way and learned alot. I remember when you first started out. Very proud of you!!:) Anyone else???

Awww thank you. That's so nice! You made me blush, lol :-[ Considering my first tank was a total whim (eeek!), I think I'm doing pretty well. haha But it's all because of this forum and the wonderful people on it - including you!
