Double Wrasse ID Needed

    that somehow makes it worse that the guy knew I had two pistol shrimp and about a dozen hermit crabs and still cleared the lunar wrasse to go.

    ...hopefully the pearly doesn't have that disposition.

    Besides being very glad you don't have a lunar... not really. It'll be a typical halichoeres for its size: will sleep in the sand, will hunt for pods or the like all day long, might target an occasional invert (snail and/or hermit, possibly feather duster). I doubt the pistol shrimp would be at risk; they don't like to target something that might hurt them in the process.

    As with keeping any wrasse, your tank MUST be covered with 1/4" mesh. They WILL jump eventually.

    I thought I was going to lose her the first night she swam up to, and into one of the side vents of my koralia and just stuck to the side. Turned it off, peeled her off and she seems fine.

    The pearl would have to thread the needle get out of the tank. Glass top. I do have one tiny gap near one of the front edges.
