    So i decided to just take my tank down and down grade to a 10g with a mantis. Since my larger tank is already good to go can I just take the rock and water and put it in the 10g and be good to go? I should only see a small cycle correct? The only thing new will be the sandbed.

    You will probably have a small cycle until everything stabilizes.

    I'm Thinking of picking up a cheap HOB filter and converting it into a minifuge for filtration. Should that be ok?
