Well, today is the 5 month mark... I think things have all grown well considering many of them started as 1" long twigs and many people doubted 8x80watt t5s could do the trick.
I have more pics that I will post later today or tomorrow....

    Thanks all!

Yeah, for the most part all is well. Still not blown away by my Octo 200 extreme, well to be honest I am very unsatisfied with it.... Hopefully I will unlock its skimming secrets soon....

I will try to add some more of the corals I haven't posted on the update....

I wonder if I shouldv'e posted the original pic next to the current pic of the corals?

Thanks all for taking the time to view!

    Couple more...
Looking from the right side, these side shots might be blurry, I had to rotate the pic and the image did not transfer well....

    More to come...

The tank is officially 5 months old, and in my eyes it is growing faster than I ever anticipated...

    Looking great Dr

your going to need to change the thread title as "3 week old 180" is misleading as to the amount of time and effort put into this set up

Yeah Steve I actually thought about that as I started the thread in December... I wanted to do a month by month update but didn't know if I should/could change the thread title...

So the tank is now 5 months and growing, a few of the SPS are already about to encroach on each other, so it will be time to frag them soon.

I did place many of the corals dangerously close to each other.

Welll to my untrained in SPS eye, they dont look crowded
plenty of colour varieties in there , I really like those branching species

There is a blue polyped digitata that is maybe 5mm away from the blue tenuis, and in the center pic my valida is about a cm away from the blue slimer as well... The problem I had with the slimer is it would stay where I wanted it while I epoxyed it, so it leaned toward the valida. And now that the valida is really bushing out it will run into some issues very soon....

I have a hard time capturing the colors, not sure if I need to tweak the camera setting or change the white balance but the colors don't seem to look all that great in the pics....
