Dr Frag's T5 lit 180

I just installed my ATB pinwheel in the Sicce for my Octopus skimmer.... Lets all hope that it works better than the stock wheel that if any of you have read- I HATE!

I am hoping this wheel rocks my skimmers face off or at least partially off!

Your 180 is filling in very nicely!

You know, if you would actually want a little more PAR, you could go to spec t5 ballasts as they put out a little more par than WH ballasts for t5HO.

Then again, why mess with success. Plus I am still "the original t5ho workhorse guinea pig" on RC, so I like my WH driven t5s.

 

If I do anything the first thing will be switching over to ATI to test them out and swap one of the 6000k's out to a Blue+

Today I installed our new GE SS french door fridge. I had a few inches of cabinet and drywall/ wall that had to get cut out for the bigger fridge we got. Getting the old fridge out was not fun.... But it looks AWESOME!!

Hmm, keg erator huh? Maybe I should start kegging my homebrews instead of bottling them?!

Pinwheel from ATB is somewhat rocking but not faces off by any means.... Skimmate is roughly the same as other wheel but it hasn't even been running 24 hrs and last night about about 11 pm I was fiddling with it so its my own fault for not having patience.

That's funny cuz my yellow turned green under my T5's and you can see a really fleshy looking mouth now... It got REALLY swollen and is REALLY happy... it's just green. I will have to break off a piece and heal it for you and trade you for a healed piece of yours. That way we can try both in each other's tanks and see what happens!

 

That hydo has doubled since I posted that pic... It IS green, I just don't know how to use the white balance on the camera all that well.
I need to do the belated 6 month update soon!

So, its just past the 6 month mark and I have been slacking on the picture part...
I have had alot going on lately so sorry for the delay.
My goal will be to get some new growth pics up either today or tomorrow.

Skimmer is still so, so.
Just switched the lamps around last night and even though the lamps are less blended, the actual color of the tank looks better blended... Odd...
