Some are acroporas others are montiporas, I have a pocillipora, and a few seriatoporas.

Do you need halide? Does it look like it? ;)

    Thanks for the compliment!

Beautiful tank! I love the before and after pics. I just got my Tek 6x54 fixture so I started with some more serious sps. I got a green birdsnest, blue/green acro, green slimer, purple monti cap. I will post some before/after shots too once they have grown a bit, but your pics are very promising.

No I just messing with you... Its a long thread to go and read...I use 8 60" T5 lamps and the tank is a 180 6'x2'x2'....I could've gone MH but wanted to save $$ on energy and prove that T5 can light big tanks and grow SPS...You are no nuisance... Thanks for viewing!

It does almost look like a blunt tipped seriatopora now that you mentioned it.... It through me when you look at it in the tank but the close up seems to give it away.. I see people talk of the ponape but I think they mean Pohnpei, its an island in the Pacific, thats where most live rock is coming from now. I believe it is east of Fiji

Thanks for the heads up Jahn!!

It doesn't look like you put any hard returns between image tags on those posts.

John S and Bill both call the particular BN as Po-Na-Pee. I bought frags of this ponape, a tubbs blue polyped pink BN, and regular Pink BN from johns.

I dunno. Lets go to pohnpei and find out. :)
