I picked up Dragon Age a while back, and just got around to playing it. I'm finding it to be a little dull. I'm not too far into the game. I just started the quest where you have to light the signal fire in the tower.

My question is, does the game get better as you go along, or does it stay the same? I'm finding it to be a little dull, and I'm tempted to just pop Oblivion in and start from scratch, or play through Fallout 3 again.

I'd love to hang in there a bit, but gaming time is a precious commodity for me lately.

I'm playing on the PS3. I think the game is better suited to a PC control scheme, but that's not what's bothering me. The other problem is a played as a mage, just to be different... usually I play these sort of games as a fighter. I may start over as a fighter....

Any advice? Not knocking those that really enjoy the game....

i had the game and quit almost towards the end. I tend to do this with rpgs i dont like. Its a decent game but it wasnt for me. It felt like more of a computer game then a 360 game. I thought the graphics where alittle dated and it really prevented me at least from really enjoying the game. Also after playing oblivion the non-open map made me alittle mad. Its a decent game, probably better for the pc. I ditched the game and played mass effect 2 over and over and over lol. Well thats until i got ff13 and now thats taking up most of my free time.

Thanks. I may do the same. Another frustration I have is with the endless pauses while the game saves, or loads another area. Way too much dialogue with NPCs, and too many cut scenes for my taste as well.

Love the game. I found the the first few hours awkward to get used to. Its extremely linear for the most part you cant really venture outside of the towns and what not but the story is top notch. Also I played it on pc which from what I've read is a better experience.
