Drain Leaking from threads...

    Every Bulkhead I've installed that used 2 gaskets (one on the inside/flange one on the outside/nut) have always leaked. The nut needs be screwed onto the glass to make sure the gasket in the tank is being pressed/squished onto the glass. Remove the extra gasket by the nut and it should stop the leak. Teflon tape wont really fix the problem, it might cover it up but its better to just remove the extra gasket.

    the gasket is on the flange side.

    Good eye.

    Yeah use a hair dryer or a heat gun and get them up to the top of the fitting. Then use plastic hose clamps. You can also use steel but they will rust and need replaced later on.

    Well after brandishing a hammer at my tank it seems to have fixed itself i just took it all apart, dried everything out, took the gasket on the nut side off, and voila! thanks guys!

    I also did the blow dryer trick for the returns!
