I am thinking you may be looking to get too many fish in there. I would say you are right on the edge.

    Great looking start.

I wasnt planning on adding all of the possible future adds, i probably should have made that clearer! Those are all fish I would consider adding, the only ones that are going in for sure at the moment are the firefish, two clowns, and tail spot blenny!

So I was at one of my LFS today picking up some stress coat and selcor, and came home with this guy too! I offered the store 5 bucks due to its condition, and figured it was worth a shot at that price! Hopefully it will come back, it is also my first LPS! Any advice on their care and an ID would be greatly appreciated, I am pretty sure it is some kind of favia.

I have it back underneath some rockwork so I can acclimate it to the lights over the next few weeks. I only have 72 watts of PC lighting, is that enough/is the acclimation necessary with that wattage?

Hey Drew, good to see you on here too :D

If you have any questions about retrofitting LED under the hood, Biocube (Chris) is the go to guy.

So it's been a little while since I posted any updates, and I wanted to post some new pics of my new additions! Ive been slowly acquiring more zoos and some lps pieces! One of the pieces I'm not too sure of the id, I think it's a candy cane but i could be wrong!

Oh hey Drew! As for potential adds, I would scrap a flasher or fairy wrasse, they would not be best suited for that size of tank. Look up a pygmy or possum wrasse. My favorite is a Tanaka's. I had one for a couple of years before my nem ate him in the 125g. Its looking good though!

Thanks Alex! Those probably would be a better bet for my tank. My next add is definitely going to be a tail spot blenny, I have been waiting for one ver since I put water in the tank! Those tanaka's are really pretty. I had wrasses for years in my old tank, and I would love to put one in this one! I think I have decided to hold off on anenomes and the goby/pistol combo too.

that sounds pretty sweet! I just saw some cool ones on divers den, there were a couple gobies with yellow shrimp that looked really nice. This one would be amazing:

how big do the pistols get when they are full grown? all the ones I have seen are about 1/2"

yeah it was a similar DD offer but with a mated pair of gobies. I had a pistol shrimp for years it never got much bigger than 3/4" I think it depends alot on species but I would say not much bigger than an inch, maybe 2 on the top end.
