    What about an MP10? I know it's a little bit of money but it's so much safer and will do a much better job than those hydor flo's they only handle like 300gph each, the MP10 will have no wires visible and such a small footprint on the back.
    Obviously some people believe in check valves I personally don't, it's just a huge single point of failure, those running them have been lucky so far, there's nothing saying it won't fail tomorrow and there are almost always ways to avoid using them if you want to.

    I too am one of those that would never put a check valve in my setup. I use siphon breaks and that always works for me.

    Its not if a check valve will fail its when.

    Syphon breaks can fail also if you dont keep it cleaned out

    I agree 100% with both comments, but the siphon break is easy to check on periodically and ensure it is clear when it is needed. There is no way to see if a check valve will fail until you find water all over.
