I'm glad I only had to drill one hole. I didn't have to worry about it being level. haha

Another note...where the GH guy in the video uses another panel(Either glass or acrylic), while I found it easy to just use an old t-shirt I had used as a rag, in-case the glass fell through. This will have more of a padded surface as apposed to the panel used in the video which the glass could just bounce off of.

I also put duct tape(in both directions, making an X) under my spot where I planned to drill, preventing the glass from falling at all.

Is there a way to see if your glass is tempered? Other than breaking it :p

    Nice job btw!

    Thanks again.

I used my cell phone. I'm pretty sure most have LCD screens. The same goes for laptops. Look at the screen through the glass tank. If you can see the screen with no problem, then you're not tempered. LCD screens, through tempered glass, just look all fuzzy & you can't see a real picture. The trick also works similarly with polarized sun glasses.

If you search "tempered glass" on the forum search(top right of screen), you'll get many results. Most recommend to call the manufacturer.

If you have a pair of sunglasses with polorized lenses, put them on and look at the glass in the sunlight. If you see rainbow swirl marks (kinda like oil on water) then your glass is tempered! :)
