I have to do homework before i start this but I was wondering how you recommend drilling a 3/4 hole in base marco rock. I have an electrical drill and a battery powered drill. Which one? im guessing the electrical obviously. Someone suggested a masonry drill bit? do they make them this size? will they do the trick? How difficult is this daunting task? I know most of you are going to say dont do it the rock will just break but if thats the case, thats ok because then i can use the smaller rocks to just zip tie around the pvc structure and not on/through it. I like the "on" it idea better though. Any other drill bits that would work that i might already have here at my house? I have tons, just dont know which will do the trick.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ryan

I would use a hammer drill with a masonry drill bit. Take it slowly.

yes they do make 3\4 masonry bits. i used one to drill some bricks. to make it a bit easier, can always drill a smaller pilot hole to begin. either drill will work well , as long as your cordless has enough juice. and can always use the hammer drill part of it too.
