drinking & reefing...

    So I'm sitting in front of my tank, cocktail in hand, when I remember that I should probably feed the fish today. Off my drink and I go to grab some mysis and defrost them in a cup of RO water. On the way back up the stairs I start to take a drink and came this close to taking a mysis shot...

    Anyone else have any drinking and reefing stories?

    After a glass of wine or two, I tend to think that I'm a master photographer and I start snapping macro shots of my corals. Naturally, none of them come out very good :)

    Well....seeing as i still frequent campus...and have more tanks to care for than any i know of.....
    I would have to give the following as rules to reefing when drinking....
    1.....No visiting coral or dry good sites if you have a credit card or Paypal
    2.....Keep you hands away from the tank...PERIOD..lol
    3.....Dont check parameters till the day after...
    4.....no bragging about the intracacy of reefing....or the actual lack thereof in most cases!!!!!

    I hate the laws of gravity! I go to pick up one of my corals that got knocked over and two more fall down-and I don't even have to be drinking!

    After 12 shot of tequila, my sexy shrimp starts to look really sexy!!!

    Just kidding, i have a electric fence to keep me out after 3 beers, as i get really smart on the third and I start coming up with ways no one ever thought to make the tank operate better! And don't get me started about Captain nights!
