    Well, rooting solves the software issues. You will need to manually update radios, and kernels, but ou can put some really nice custom roms on your phone that utilize your resources better. best of all, no bloatware.

    If you are having txting problems turn off next word prediction on the Multi touch keyboard settings and clear the app data. There is a bug in the word prediction. But yeah I would root that thing and avoid all that garbage all together.
