I'm currently cycling a 75 gal fowlr and am currently in the diatom phase, the question is.....

After purchasing 60lbs of dry live rock for $50 bucks I am wondering if I can put this is in directly to the tank because it looks as though it was recently in a tank, some pieces have signs of coralline and snail shells etc. Do I need to cure the rock somehow or can I just rinse it and put it in piece at a time?

If you rinse it and put it in it may add some time to the cycle but this is a good time to go ahead and do it. I would put it all in at once after a good scrub and rinse.
