    Hello everyone,

what's the best putty or glue for attaching dry rocks (aquascaping). I've done a research and some people use those epoxy from HD. Are they even safe?

    thanks.

yeah, aquamend is one, just make sure it says "potable" on it. But IMO, if I redid mine, I'd get acrylic rods and drill. much safer that way

Thanks cosmo, and can i find aquamed at hd or lowes?

I thought about those drill and rod, but It's just harder to aquascape. The epoxy will have flexible placement. And I've seen some of those people stack the rocks, OMG...they look like shish kebab rocks. LOL. Hate the way it looks.

FWIW, I used 1/4" acrylic rods and used PC7 epoxy. After contacting the manufacturer they informed me that PC7 is ok for potable water once it has fully cured. I drilled out the rock with a 1/4" masonry bit, cut the rod to length and put epoxy on the end of the rod. I then inserted into the rock and let dry before attaching the other rocks. I let it cure fully for 1 month. Works great, PC7 is sold at any hardware store and the rods can be purchased on ebay for a very low price.
