drying rocks out

    i have a bit of an aptisia problem i was wondering if i could take all my rocks out and dry it out for like 3 weeks and put it back in the tank would that be a problem?

    Wouldnt do that..That will "kill" the rock..and you would have to cure it again.

    I would just go buy some Joes Juice or peppermint shrimps, they will take it out.

    Yeah I would try something else, it would put your tank in a new cycle.

    +1 on the peppermint shrimp. I just bought some live rock recently that was covered in apstisia. Threw 2 peppermint shrimp in the holding tank and the rock was clean within a week.

    if you dont have corals you can take the rock out and just burn the aiptasia
