You take the zoas off the frag plugs and put on those rocks?

Nice! Love that the are off the frag title and the rock. This is the pic I'm referring too

I have these radioactive zoas on this rock. It's more of a branch but there is something in with tentacles. I think it's a spaghetti worm. Kinda freaks me out watching the tentacles go in and out. Looked like a spider web. Remember the other post about sea spiders. Dont think it's that though. Any way I should learn to frag zoas to get off this infested rock. Easy to do? These polyps are on the rock, no neck or body extending the head up

Fragging zoas can be tricky. I wanted separate colonies of the higher end zoas so they got there own rocks. If I put all of them on the same rock they would compete for space. I would leave your zoas there, it won't be long until they start taking over the whole rock. I fragged my zoas very carefully with an exacto knife. I had a friend from world wide corals who showed me how to do it right.

Thanks. I'm a little concerned about what's in my rock that has the zoas. With those tentacles I don't know if it's good or bad. I might try to get a couple polyps off and on a tile. I get worried that whatever it is will spread and I can't get rid of it.
With all the time and money that goes into this I get more cautious. Example I haven't added a fish in about 7 months. Just corals. After dips of course :)

I have something like that in the rock with my colony of fire and ice zoas. It reaches it's tentacles out to grab food and there almost a clear white color. Doesn't bother my zoas at all. Just keep an eye out. It there bothered they will close up. That's how I found a tiny aptasia in the middle of my JF cat eyes, they kept closing up in the area of the aptasia. Just don't panic.

Looking good buddy. I got some zoas this past week.
In my years of reef keeping, I have never got them to have 100% polyp extension. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've started these out at the bottom and will slowly move them upward just incase that may be my issue.
Keep up the good work. Love your tank.

Thank you for the kind words. I keep mine under intense lighting with moderate flow. The only zoas I had a problem with was bam bams. They would melt in a few days just randomly then one head would survive and grow to over 50 then all of a sudden melt again. That's a zoa I'll never buy again.

Thank you very much. It's been a work in progress but that's reefing. Your avatar is sweet.
