Love my Radions, so many options and NO chiller.
I know it goes without saying DSC but I can't wait to see your tread on your seahorse tank. I've been thinking of doing one myself but my sister tried and failed, so have shyed away from it.

My wife has always loved seahorses and ofcourse our LFS had a beautiful pair when we last visited. We're gonna slowly start preparing the 55 in our little ones room to become the Seahorse tank. Ofcourse that tank will get a build thread buddy. I'm excited and nervous about the radions but I'm sure I'll figure them out.

I got mine with ecosmart, which has preselects you can choose from or you can create your own light array. I changed them over to APEX so I had a one stop shop for all my aquarium needs. :laughing016: Apex doesn't offer the niffty preselects but it's easy to create your own array. Lights are bright, I run mine at 60% and they hit the bottom without a problem. I have three of them strung over my DT. When I had corals, they seemed to like them.

Don't worry my friend. Life's good!

If anyone needs help with Seahorses member Rayjay can definitely help. I beleive he still trolls here so any thread with Seahorses is bound to get his attention but you can always pm him. He is always willing to help. Temperature is one of the most important aspects in keeping them as they do not tolerate warm water.☺

Little update on the reef. Colors are still coming back and growth has started again. The bansai has laid out a pretty big base, kinda hard to see because it's a top down photo. Red planet is actually turning red. So far the tank is moving in the right direction. 20160116_202840.jpg 20160113_172546.jpg

Thanks man. It's funny how I ended up getting it. Me and my wife drove about an hour to this fish store and I couldn't decide between 2 chalices with one being the Easter egg. I chose the other and after seeing it in the tank for a day I wanted the Easter egg so my wife ended up driving all the way back to get it. Lol. Now that's love!!! It's been a fast grower and it's an oxypora species. The color is way better in person.
