    I would agree with Pickupman66

    my tank is 5ft x 18 and I have 4 of those twin wavemakers in it
    2 on the left and 2 on the right

    they do spread the water much better without the directional feature fitted
    they also take up less space

    with those directional attachments it does focus to much water in 1 direction
    hence you possibly feel its to much flow for your tank

    I've got a couple of those in my 125 and love them. You can find the cheapies on eBay. They probably aren't as reliable as a Koralia but u got the two of these for less than the cost of one Koralia so I'm happy.
