I had a red sea sailfin that started eating my corals. She killed my first clam that I ever bought...chewed a hole right in the center of it. I remove that and she goes and eats an open brain. I pull the brain out to another tank and she moves to my acans.

I watched her eating my corals so I know she was at least one of the problems...she started it!

So, last weekend I took my tank apart and got her out. She is now in my golden puffers tank.

    Problem solved...NO!

Now my scribbed rabbit is eating my acans! I have 6 different types of acans and couple of them are fairly large colonies. They were looking so well. Now they look horrible. I have removed a couple of my smaller acans out to my mantis tank but I can not remove all of them...not enough room.

So now I am asking a friend to babysit my prized acans for a bit until I can figure how to get the fish out

here are some before and after pics....

My brain even looks more pitiful!

Hopefully my friend can babysit and I can get the bad, bad fish out!

one bad apple ruins the pie(atleast i think that a saying), your fish are picking up bad traits from that delinquent tang. you better keep him away from you pug or it might start too. :)
sorry im sure you dont find this humorous at all. thats some bad luck, i know rabbit fishs can be trouble but that just horrible that your sailfin did it too. red sea are the best look too.

oh yeah...and he will be taken back to the LFS! I wanted to take the sailfin back...but I started to try to get her out at like 6ish and it was around 10 or so when I finally got it out, so she went to the puffer tank. I really dont want to put anything else in that tank...so to the store she will go!Trust me...I am sick over it

LOL....so true! The pug is ok...but the pup is chewing on my door frames. She has ate the wood away from one of my door frame...not just a small section but a fairly large section!

    Dumb house!

I place 2 full sheets of nori, romaine, or seaweed in the tank a day. I feed every other day..and I have increased to daily right now! And I do think I over-feed my fish in general...they are fat piggies

What a shame. JustPhish once told us that he has never known a tang to not pick on LPS corals but I have yet to have this happen in my tank (knocking wood).

I still say you ought to try my plastic strawberry basket idea. Your scribble is a beautiful fish. This will give the corals recovery time and one of two things will happen; he will switch back to his normal diet or he'll go after a different type of coral. (I suspect the former).

However, if he doesn't, I can babysit.
