Dumb Newbie Mistake w/Kenya tree

    Yikes sounds like a weed....mmmmm. And I wanted xenia too (don't have any right now..may not get)...LOL... hope I can control it.
    It's in my 10 gallon nano.

    mabey my experience with it is not typical but yeah i wont put anything like that in my tank again. you have to watch gsp too but its more encrusting and doesnt migrate as much on me.

    Yeah I've read about the GSP and am not planning on getting that. Did want some purple Xenia....don't know now. Do want Zoas & Paly's plus some other stuff that I can't remember the names of.

    I just don't want to kill off my 1st & so far only piece of coral.

    Plan to get some zoas next month.

    no zoa dont reproduce as fast in my tank making them much easier to control. mushrooms do reproduce as fast but can be plucked and relocated without leaving the mat substance behind which spreads. my problems have just come from kenya tree, anthelia, and xenia.

    definitely not, kenya was my first coral too and i didnt have a problem till i let it spread for 6 months.

    zoas are awesome because of the many different color combinations you can get (depending where you live they all have different names too).

    Yeah I love all the different color combos and such that zoas have .....saw some called watermelon zoas were bright pink in the center and and some vibrant dayglow green on the tenticle thingies...and red ones and Tub's Blue...

    yeah theyre great. i have some common watermelon, green apple and blueberry. i once paid some top dollar for some special zoas only to get them home and have them fall off the frag plug and disappear before nightfall. part of the trade

    Cool.....sucks about the others though.

    I can't wait till payday.....gonna get some zoas ;D.
