I have a huge pistol shrimp living under my GSP. He burrowed down to the silicone. should I be worried about him harming the silicone?

Definitely not dumb. I don't think that it could do damage to silicone any more than we do when cleaning the tank.

That is what I thought, but wanted to hear what others thought. I like him being in view the way he is. Did not want to relocate him.

It was a really LONG walk of shame. ::)

The little **** decided to move to the rock my acans are on. However, when I fill in the hole under the GSP, he burrows it back out at night. If I can get a photo I will post one. He is very pretty.

He looks like this guy, but has deep blue legs and blue on his sides.

Just a little FYI, don't gogle "blue leg pistol shrimp" when your kids are around.

You might want to keep an eye on him. or put a barrier between him and the silicone. I found an emerald crab pulling at the silicone at the edge of my tank. wether he can pull it off or not I dont know but he was ripping zoas and small leathers from rock and movin them. Poor guy. The pressure form my foot killed him. Guess I should lose some weight huh....
