I got this about a year ago. Been one of my favorite toys I ahave ever owned. Traded a 4 wheeler for it that I never used. Since then, I have made it street legal and done a lot of safety and cosmetic upgrades. There wasn't much more that could be done performance wise. I have seen speeds up to 93mph and got scared and slowed down (front end has no weight and it was quite scary and awesome) VW bug engine and a VW bus transmission. Let me know what you think!!

When I bought it, June of last year.

Just different. They are completely different animals. I live the VW route because they are easy to work on and parts are cheap. I bought an entire beetle for $500 and have used parts off it for over a year now.

I will beat you in top speed but I bet yours is A LOT more maneuverable. And both are totally cool! Yours was cheaper in the end too. And probably has a warranty. Mine looks like something off grand theft auto though.

How are you liking your new toy? Getting out to use it as much as you had hoped?
