    Sorry for the noob question, but I have a pre-drilled overflow on the tank I'm starting. However, the drilled hole is on the side not on the bottom. Will a durso modified to go out the side work the same as if it were through the bottom? Does anyone have any diagrams or pics to show this?

    Yes.

    You'll need to use a threaded bulkhead or glue the slip. With the traditional button bulkhead, it just sits in there.

    I don't have any pictures, sorry. I don't have that tank anymore.
