Picked up a 29 gallon tank for my sump. I've been waiting for Petco to have their $1 per gallon sale so I could get one cheap. Today we stopped in and they had a few 29's miss priced as 20L's. I thought $20 off was worth arguing over plus I had a 10% off coupon that expired today so that would put it close to $1 a gallon. I grabbed one and headed to the front and an associate told us that they were having their sale starting tomorrow. I explained to the manager that we lived an hour away and asked if we could get the sale price today figuring I would be going back tomorrow, but they did it and I was able to use my coupon also.;D I also picked up most of my plumbing supplies and storm window frame for my screen top. I'm excited to get all this stuff, but I don't really know when I'm gonna have the time to do anything with it.

Lol isn't it funny how that works

Thanks. I'm not a very patient person it's driving me crazy that this tank isn't up and running yet, but there are things I'm able to do with this tank that I didn't do on my 55. I just want to make sure and do it right this time.

The table that I was building for my wife is now finished so it's time to get back to the stand. I still need to sand, stain, and get urethane on it. The plywood I bought for my doors is warped, so it's basically worthless now:angry:. I guess I'm going to have to spend the extra money and get solid maple boards and find a router table.

    Thanks OFK

Got a coat of stain put on the stand tonight, but I think I should have stayed home instead. I was almost done and I knocked the can of stain over. Almost half of the quart poured out ran under the stand and on the floor making a huge mess. Luckily the floor was concrete, my wife was there to help, and it didn't ruin the stand. After the night I had it feels good to sit here with a nice whiskey on the rocks;D I'll see about getting some pics up tomorrow.

Here is the stand with one coat of stain. I'm going to put another coat on it to even it out.

I'm also going to get some truck bed liner or undercoating for the inside to deaden the sound and protect from spills.

Had somewhat of a productive day working on the stand. I got my doors made, cut some plywood for the floor, and got a second coat of stain put on. I also took the 29 to the glass shop to get the glass cut for the sump baffles.

    Doors hung before stain
