I have no personal experience, but most if not all angels are reef safe with caution(I think). Every fish has it's own personality to. They can behave for years and suddenly start ripping your reef apart. I have also heard it is best to get them while they are young so you can "sort of" teach them to eat prepared foods instead of your corals.

But, I have heard better success stories with the lemonpeel though :)

I think I'm willing to take the risk with one of these fish. I mean, they are just too freakin' cute to pass up!! Of course, I'm saying that now when I've put no $ or time into corals...but....

I would say go for it, but just be aware of the fact that they can nip at your corals. Also, don't be mad at the little guy if he does start nipping, he's just doing what comes naturally to him. I honestly hate hearing stories about people who have had angels tear apart their reef and they kill the fish for the trouble it's caused, absolutely disgusting(I know you would never do that, but people like that make me sick to my stomach).

Maybe someone with personal experience will chime in, my info hear is just hear-say and I usually take everything I hear with a grain of salt.

The corals in the tank are definitely recovering well.

Oh yeah, I would never do that! Even if he did eat my corals I would just deal, because he would be one of my babies!! Plus, can't get mad at him for doing what's natural after all, since I'm the one that brought him into the tank.
