Dwarf Angelfish Experiences!

    If you're set on a dwarf, I would get one of the pygmys (Cherub, flameback, yellowtail) for your sized tank. I've seen full grown flames and lemonpeels in large tanks and they were beasts, couldn't imagine one in my tank.

    I would never call any dwarf reef safe, but some are more prone to nip than others. My cherub didn't start to nip until months down the line and only certain corals. Definitely add the angel last since it will consider the whole tank it's territory.

    I have a Coral Beauty and a Flame, in my 125,
    they are small, and a 30 should be OK.

    feed it two times daily a butterfly/angel diet. they come in frozen cubes. and provide nori for grazing.

    I will be following this thread, plan on adding a Coral Beauty to a 46gallon bowfront in the future but am waiting until the tank is mroe established. Will also be added him near the end to avoid aggression issues only have 2 small perc clowns at the moment

    Whats nori? We feed every other day, would that be bad for him? Also, wouldnt the other fish get some?

    i would start feeding daily. and its fine for other fish. angels are omnivores so they'll need nori(basically seaweed on a clip) and an angelfish diet. angels are naturally grazers so they require frequent feeding. some feed three times a day. i just plan on feeding mine 1-2 times daily.

    Cool maybe we will sttart feeding daily leading up to the week we get the angel.

    Will an angel eat a clip of the greens a day?!
