    yea i got rid of that right after i got him though. right now theres barely any left.

    its not your fault. its mine because im a begginer and i though i could tackle a "moderate" fish. obviously i made a very rookie mistake.. if freezing him is the way to go then i guess i could do it. you have been a big help man i will make sure to give you karma.

    ...are you sure it's not dead already? You should probably get it out of there now. It's past the point of no return unfortunately. :-/

    its not dead yet. i do believe that he is past hte point of no return thou. he will react when i poke him with the feeding tongs, but thats it. he will just flare his pectoral fins then go back to normal. the only reason i want ot wait till this evening is so i can have my parents help to get him out (emotional not physical) but thanks. i get way to attached to my fish i think...

    i entirely disagree with this method. Do to the fact that freezing affects the capillary blood vessels just under the skin, causing the fish great pain before it loses consciousness.

    oh great. it would have been nice to know this BEFORE i did it. its ok i doubt he would have got out pain free either way he went... thanks anyways
