I am very sorry for your loss Gexx, it's never easy to watch an animal you love die, nor is it easy to have to gather the strength to euthanize your pet.
He's swimmin' with John O now. I'm sure he'll take good care of him.

it's too late now...but for future reference if you ever have to euthanize a fish..put it in a bowl of tank water and add a few drops of clove oil..you can get it at the walmart pharmacy or walgreens etc..the clove oil will make it fall asleep..then add vodka or rubbing alcohol..if you google it you can find a more exact method with measurements and what not but that's the main idea...

sorry for your loss btw..i was pretty bummed when i lost my volitans a few months ago

yeah..i'm not saying there's anything wrong with the other way...that's just how i have done it in the past and it seems fairly humane if you're worried about that sort of thing

:( Sucks loosing a pet. I feel for you very much Gexx. Kinda makes you think about the whole having pets in the first place situation.
I lost my siamese fighter today (i think the cat had him) he was the most beautiful betta id ever seen. Could my day get any worse? Yes it could.....my poor bunny died today aswell. Absolutely no clue what so ever why he died. Was fine one minute. Went out for an hour. When i checked on him when i came back. Just lying there totally unresponsive.
Im contemplating if the inevitable heartache of losing our little furry/fishy loved ones is even worth the few months/years of pleasure we receive from them in the long run. :(
