Right then been looking at one of these, how well do they do with other fish and inverts and has anybody had them living peacefully in a reef tank with various fish, tang, clown, wrasse etc? cheers

    Any suggestions.

Not a pro but as far as I know dwarf lionfish are not reef safe. In the lfs i usually see them in tanks on there own. Maybe someone else can give you some more better information :)

i have had a fuzy and zebra. neither lived long but thats because they were in too small a system too soon. they dont have the huge mouths that they are cracked up to be. when mine died i opened his mouth and it was penny size at 4 inches. they get to 9 so watch out then. they didnt go after anything in my tank i had the last one with my reef tank but only for about two months. then something attacked it and it died. which are you planning on getting?

Fuzzy dwarfs are generally more shy than volitans. Getting them to eat is a little more difficult than volitans. They do get pretty large when they age, so they can eat a lot of critters in a reef system. I've never seen a lion with iridescent eyes though, maybe it was reflection from strong lighting?
