    MiniBow LED Mod

    Just finished the mod to the cover for the 1.5g dwarf corral. I used a strip of 9X 1watt computer LED's purchased from a seller on eBay for $6.50 and a universal 12vdc powersupply from Ace for $13. Here it is ;D

    I didn't like the solid white look they gave so I used a Sharpie to blue out 5 of the 9 lenses.

    I ran out of time today but will get some new macro shots tomorrow. Everything looks so much better now. IMO anyway. ;D

    Thanks! They are much safer now. When I was moving them I literally unraveled the chaeto in my sump looking for survivors. I found one of my pipefish living in there!
    I really didn't like the yellow glow of the 7watt bulb and the computer LED's just made sense. :)

    I siphon out a 1 liter pop bottle full everyday and replace it with water from my reef tank. Takes about 5 minutes.
