No, but I thought it might be neat. I smoke (expensive) cigars not cigarettes but it might be worth a try. How much are they? And are they as addicting? Just another expensive hobby probably.

you can get kits from about 50.00 and up after that its cheaper to use that cigarettes.I don't know about cigars since I don't smoke them. And from what I have read about it there is no second hand smoke or hundreds of extra chemicals.it has nicotine(which is the addicting part) but there's no tobacoo. its flavoring. I know I have seen some french pipe flavor.

    here's a little more info...

An electronic cigarette, also known as an e-cigarette or personal vaporizer, is a battery-powered device that provides inhaled doses of nicotine by way of a vaporized solution. It is an alternative to smoked tobacco products, such as cigarettes, cigars, or pipes. In addition to nicotine delivery, this vapor also provides a flavor and physical sensation similar to that of inhaled tobacco smoke, while no tobacco, smoke, or combustion is actually involved in its operation. An electronic cigarette usually takes the form of some manner of elongated tube, though many are designed to resemble the outward appearance of real smoking products, like cigarettes, cigars, and pipes. Another common design is the "pen-style", so named for its visual resemblance to a ballpoint pen. Most electronic cigarettes are reusable devices with replaceable and refillable parts. A number of disposable electronic cigarettes have also been developed.

I'm not a smoker but I think they look neat. I was a product photographer for a little bit this summer out in Cali and one of my big clients was named vapor nation. So I got to see first hand all the neat smoking paraphernalia.

So these things don't have the smoke like a normal cigarette or cigar? I'm not a smoker and never will be, have had asthma since I was little and personally think it's a disgusting habit but that's just me. But hey, if these things don't produce all of the harmful stuff or lingering smell like everything else then I think they are a great idea.

Your right it is a disgusting smelly, teeth staining habit, and thats why i want to quit,i think it will be easier to quit using the e-cig.you can get different milligrams of nicotine to go lower and lower to wean yourself off nicotine.

Good for you. Its not easy. I plan to wean myself off and continue to use the e-cig with 0 mg nicotine, that will keep my hands busy. When u quit smoking u miss the physical part of smoking.
