This is our build. We started around March of this year. :)

This is how we originally got our 90 Gallon Tank. We rebuilt the bottom of if since it had rotted away. Last picture is of our Overflow/Return kit and our 500 watt JBJ heater.

Looks great so far. Nice job fixing the rotted out stand.

    Glass stain removal

In one of the pictures above where the DT is getting filled you can see stains on the glass. I didn't think anything of it until everything was filled and fish were in. I tried to clean it off and did not come off. Turned out it was a water stain on the outside of the glass and it was etched onto the glass. After trying everything from soaking with vinegar for hours to hydrochloric acid I finally found a way to remove the stain. Key was to use Cerium Oxide to polish the glass for 7 hours with a hand drill. Finally after months of trying and trying got it all off :)

This is where we are at as of today. We have 1 clown-fish and 1 blue hippo tang. This is our first build. By us I am referring to my girlfriend and I. She had FOWLR setup in the past and I have never messed with salt water. All input is greatly appreciated. If you have any question I will be more than happy to respond back. Hope everyone enjoys and we will keep posting updates as we go along. Our next step is test kit for corals and lighting system. Not sure if we'll build a custom canopy and build our own lighting system or if we should just purchase a light system. We would like to go with 2 - 250W MH + 4 T5's + moonlights. Thanks everyone for looking

Oh I forgot power heads also. We don't have enough flow in the tank.
