    He told me NOT to restrict the air.. I haven't truely tested this yet. I purchased mine used & it came with one. But when I tested it I left the valve for the air open. I'm sure others can confirm this..

    Once you switch to flex PVC you will notice how much gph those barb end loose by restricting the ID of the pipe.

    Oh ya much better. I took your advice and removed the air restriction valve. Over the last couple days I have slowly opened the ball valve all the way, and gate is also open all the way. I still have it raised up. Getting plenty of nice stinky green skim.
