Just set up my first saltwater tank Sunday. It will be a mixed reef setup.
I just found 3reef.com and find it very infomative and enjoyable to browse. Its been 3 days and all water params are 0.0, ph is perhaps a little low at 7.8. Its hard to wait for the cycle to start and then complete. I have a 75 gal. tank with 2 bags of live sand and 1 in the fuge. I also have 30 lbs of base rock and 18 lbs of live rock. The live rock had Zenia on it and it still looks healthy.

    Welcome to 3reef.

Congrats on the new tank. It's all about patience during the cycle and stocking. The xenia will probably make it through the cycle.
