    I've been searching on Google Earth for it, but I can't seem to find it. Is there any way you would share the coordinates with me?

    Yes, but in 2009 we had 0 quakes in the 7.0 - 7.9 magnitude. We've already had 2 this year. There have been more significant quakes this year.

    Oh, I thought he meant U.S. only because the charts said we had no quakes in that range in 2009. Worldwide we've had four this year so far which would project we should see around 16 by the end of the year. That's the same as we had worldwide in 2009.

    This has got me interested now. It seems like this is more a product of media than there really being more quakes lately.

    Yep, when one outlet covers a subject and gets ratings, all of the rats start running for the same piece of cheese.
