I currently have the ELOS and it is almost gone. I have always had a hard time telling when the color changes from orange/red to green due to my slight color blindness. Is there an easier test with a more drastic color change?

Salifert. You fill a syringe with solution and keep putting drops in vial until it changes color. Then you read the number on the syringe and match that number up with a chart. So there's no color guessing. Really easy once you do it a few times.

Seachem changes from red to blue. Same idea as Salifert.

I'll 2nd that. I've used several different ones and am now wishing I had just stuck with the Red Sea. Right now I'm using the Tropic Marin Ca/Mg combo kit and it's got to be the worst ever. I'll be going back to Red Sea once the TM kit runs out.

The only old Red Sea test that was worth a damn was the Magnesium kit. Their new one is still good, and the others are much improved compared to what they were.
